In September 2024, Coeur & Action gave school bags and notebooks to 200 pupils in Douéla’a, Sahnaya and Dareya, and continued to fund the school bus for 40 schoolchildren near Homs.

September is always a busy month for our education work. This year, we bought school bags and notebooks for 200 pupils in Douéla’a, Sahnaya and Dareya, around Damascus. The children were thus able to start the school year with the supplies they need.
The school bus for 40 schoolchildren
In the villages of the mountainous areas between Homs and the coast, school is often far from home. We therefore continued to fund the school bus that allows 40 schoolchildren to get to class.
