In July and September 2024, Coeur & Action provided 15 families in Dareya and Sahnaya with mattresses, LED lamps and batteries. We also distributed 15 water tanks in these two towns.
Coping with power cuts
In Syria, power cuts are frequent. With a battery and LED lamps, families can light their homes in the evening, even when the power is off. The mattresses also allow them to sleep in better conditions.
Water stored at home
In Dareya and Sahnaya, we distributed 15 water tanks. This way, families can keep a supply of water at home.
Medicines and glasses for the grandparents
We also helped the elderly members of these families with their health care : we covered the cost of medicines for their treatments, and of glasses so that they can see better in their daily lives.
