On March 2, 2023, a second distribution took place in Aleppo thanks to Coeur & Action’s on site representatives. This second distribution was dedicated to families with one or more members with disabilities.
- The distribution took place in front of the premises of the local association Al Moustakbal, an association which helps disabled people and their families. The association targets priority families according to the needs of each of them.
- The majority of the families come from the different reception centers for displaced people in Aleppo.
- The distribution was made under presentation of the identity card for people with disabilities.
- 240 boxes of infant milk, 50 packets of adult diapers, 50 packets of baby diapers, 50 packets of sanitary napkins and 50 boxes of shampoo were distributed.
A very large number of people with disabilities find themselves homeless and in extremely precarious situations following the earthquakes that have hit northern Syria since Monday, February 6. Our distributions provide essential relief to many families, but many of them do not yet benefit from international aid and need your donations.
Every euro is useful, they are counting on you.
