Distribution of milk, nappies, sanitary napkins and hygiene products

On March 2, 2023, a second dis­tri­bu­tion took place in Alep­po thanks to Coeur & Action’s on site repre­sen­ta­tives. This second dis­tri­bu­tion was dedi­ca­ted to fami­lies with one or more mem­bers with disabilities. 

• The dis­tri­bu­tion took place in front of the pre­mises of the local asso­cia­tion Al Mous­tak­bal, an asso­cia­tion which helps disa­bled people and their fami­lies. The asso­cia­tion tar­gets prio­ri­ty fami­lies accor­ding to the needs of each of them. 
• The majo­ri­ty of the fami­lies come from the dif­ferent recep­tion cen­ters for dis­pla­ced people in Aleppo. 
• The dis­tri­bu­tion was made under pre­sen­ta­tion of the iden­ti­ty card for people with disabilities. 
• 240 boxes of infant milk, 50 packets of adult dia­pers, 50 packets of baby dia­pers, 50 packets of sani­ta­ry nap­kins and 50 boxes of sham­poo were distributed. 

A very large num­ber of people with disa­bi­li­ties find them­selves home­less and in extre­me­ly pre­ca­rious situa­tions fol­lo­wing the ear­th­quakes that have hit nor­thern Syria since Mon­day, Februa­ry 6. Our dis­tri­bu­tions pro­vide essen­tial relief to many fami­lies, but many of them do not yet bene­fit from inter­na­tio­nal aid and need your donations.
